Carolyn Weybrecht - Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologist
Room: 125

Welcome to Speech Language Therapy! I feel very fortunate to be working with students who have communication delays in areas such as speech sounds, listening and speaking, social skills, and stuttering. All speech language therapy sessions are centered around strengthening each student's special needs in a positive, highly interactive, and multi-sensory based learning environment. This year, I work with students in kindergarten through 3rd grade and the Intermediate SCILLS Class. I am at Mesquite Elementary on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I look forward to an amazing school year!

About Me

I grew up in Ohio and moved to Gilbert 19 years ago. I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University of Ohio. Since I always admired my mom, aunt, and both grandmothers who were all teachers, I knew I wanted to continue the tradition of working children in the schools. I wanted to work with children with specialized needs in a small group setting so working as a speech language pathologist is perfect for me! My husband and I met in college. We have been married for many years and have 2 sons who are 25 and 22 years old. We also have a fun, loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! I enjoy hiking, biking, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends. I always enjoy my adventures of being a speech language pathologist!
